Transgender Day of Remembrance this Thursday, November 17th.
Please join us for a day of activities as we honor the lives lost due to violence in the trans community over the past year. Events will include Breakfast (Bagel-Friday style) & Poster Making, a Blue Stool Lecture, a silent March for Trans Lives, and a Candlelight Vigil.
All of our events are one-off events. So while we hope you come to as many as possible, if something doesn’t fit within your schedule, that’s okay too. Feel free to invite others, as we’d love to have as many people as possible in the Champlain community show up for the Trans community, on what is typically a heavy day for a lot of us.
We will also be hosting a competition for whoever can bring in the most people to the Candlelight Vigil. Whoever is able to bring the most people to the event will win a WGC Prize Pack.
Below you’ll find the flyer and schedule for the events happening this Thursday.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
Have a great week,
Alex W. Martin
