Upcoming Burlington Conservation Events of Interest and Importance

Upcoming Events and Programs

Our Spring Newsletter is right around the corner (mid April send out) but here are some can’t miss events, opportunities and announcements we want you to know about!

Burlington’s Virtual Community Summit on Climate Change Solutions Using Nature
Our city is often seen as a leader in addressing climate change, and our current approach centers energy and emissions. But there is more that we can be doing – from city action, to neighborhood action.

The Burlington Conservation Board is asking you to join us in imagining a BTV where all of us are working together to combat climate change through nature. Nature based-solutions, or NBS, are climate solutions that work with our soil, plants, trees, and water alongside community partnership, education, and participation to strengthen our people and our natural areas.

We are hosting a webinar discussion on March 29th 7-8pm.

Red Wagon Plants has just announced their spring virtual workshop series.

Spring Virtual Workshop Series

The first of the season is March 20th, Introduction to Building Pollinator Gardens with Julia Parker-Dickerson. Learn all about how lots of small wildlife habitat in backyards and community gardens can make a huge difference to beneficial insects and birds.

As a special gift to all the readers of Burlington’s Conservation News, we are offering 20% off all of our workshops this spring. Just use the coupon code BACG20 at checkout on the Red Wagon website.

Have any questions? Please email info@redwagonplants.com.

Thanks and happy gardening,
Julie Rubaud, owner of Red Wagon Plants
