GREEN STIMULUS INCENTIVES EXTENDED INTO 2021

The Green Stimulus is a program of rebates on heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, home appliances, electric vehicles (EVs), and more. As of last month, Burlingtonians have applied for rebates for the installation of over 200 heat pumps.
BED will continue to offer many other opportunities through the Green Stimulus program including:

  • enhanced EV incentives;
  • enhanced energy efficient appliance and weatherization incentives;
  • a partnership with Old Spokes Home and Opportunities Credit Union to make electric bikes (E-bikes) available at cost and with zero percent interest loans to low-income customers;
  • and a commercial loan program with zero percent loans for small businesses and nonprofits that need help replacing equipment with energy efficient options.

We recently updated our online map of EV charging stations in Burlington. We have added chargers that are part of the EVmatch network including six new chargers at Cambrian Rise in the New North End.
