The planning committee for the Building a Better Activist: Social Change Education for the Activist in You conference invites you to submit a proposal (workshop, skills-building session, performance, or presentation) for our 2019 conference.
We encourage proposal submissions to include any aspects related to activism and social change. Creativity is encouraged and session proposals can take many formats – from arts or performance workshops, to “know your rights” sessions, to media or other skills training, to organizing strategy sessions. Reviewers will give special consideration to proposals that cultivate love and heart and help others ground their activism in love. Sessions will be 90 minutes long and should be interactive. Presenters of all ages, experiences & backgrounds welcome; you do not have to be a UVM affiliate to submit a proposal.
