FEED THE NEED – City of Winooski is looking for dedicated, compassionate volunteers for their Meals on Wheels program which operates out of the Winooski Senior Center. The program provided over 10,000 meals to community members during the last year! Contact Barbara Pitfido at 655-6425 or email seniorcenter@winooskivt.org.

FRONT OFFICE – Lund has need of experienced administrative volunteers to help support their front office. Tasks include greeting and checking in clients and visitors, answering inquiry phone calls, and being a resource to staff. Contact Julie Richards at 864-7467, Ext. 2028 or email julier@lundvt.org.

CHECKING IN – Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity would welcome volunteers, age 16 and older, to help with unloading incoming donations, cleaning, testing, sorting, and/or pricing items, and doing research, when needed. ON THE BOARD – HANDS (Helping & Nurturing Diverse Seniors) is a small nonprofit that works to provide food to low-income seniors in Chittenden County through gardening programs, nutrition workshops, meal delivery on Christmas, and a partnership with Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf’s “Good Food Truck.” They are looking for skilled board members in the areas of development, marketing and media. SING IT OUT! – Our Lady of Providence is looking for a group singing leader interested in working with older adults to facilitate a group of singers to gather and sing spiritual and generation specific songs for an hour each week. ON THE RUN – Run Vermont is gearing up for its half-marathon on April 13th and is looking for volunteers to serve as course monitors, finish line support, medical support, bike escorts, and more. CENTENNIAL! – YWCA Vermont is seeking volunteers to help ready Camp Hochelaga for its 100 year celebration on June 15th. They need many volunteers on June 14th to help prepare for the large public event. Join the fun and be part of Hochelaga’s tradition of empowering young women!
