LEND A HAND. VOLUNTEER – United Way’s Volunteer Connection site is set up to help connect agencies and volunteers. Agencies are working hard to navigate volunteering during this time, but opportunities are increasing. Here is a link for Volunteer Connection to learn more about these and other opportunities.

VIDEOGRAPHER NEEDED – Green Mountain Habitat invites an experienced videographer to help record their work at job sites and at their ReStore.  If you have experience with DSLR or Video Camera and are adept at editing video with software such as Premier or After Effects and have the software on your personal device, this opportunity is for you!  Flexible scheduling in a fast-paced, often outdoor environment.  If this opportunity interests you, send 2 or 3 samples or a social media handle to kali@vermonthabitat.org.

LIGHT CONTRUCTION & PROJECTS – Maquam Bay of MIssisquoi has a number of small jobs that need attention at their Tribal Office.  Tasks include replacing pillars in front of the building and hanging a large message board.  They’ll provide the materials, you provide the labor. Flexible scheduling.  Email info@abenakination.com.

A SERVING NEED – ANEW Place is looking for volunteers, age 18 and older, to serve an evening meal provided by New Moon Catering between 6 and 8:30 p.m. at Champlain Inn Low Barrier Temporary Housing Facility.  All volunteers must be fully vaccinated or have a negative test result a week before volunteering.  Masks are required.  Contact Andre Clark at aclark@anewplacevt.org

SOCIAL MEDIA GURU – Trinity Educational Center is in need of a volunteer to create a website, newsletter and engaging social media about the Infinite Center for teens at University Mall in South Burlington.  The Center is a safe, after-school and evening place for teens to socialize, do homework and participate in activities.  Flexible scheduling.  Contact Travia Child at dr.travia.c@gmail.com.
