We would love to have Champlain students join us this spring in any form, volunteering, internships or maybe even jobs. At Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity, we believe in the power of homeownership to build strength, stability, independence and opportunity for families and communities. Since 1984, we have worked in partnership with volunteers to build simple, decent and perpetually affordable homes for low-income working families in Chittenden County, Vermont. The families purchase the homes at cost and with a 0% or affordable interest mortgage, and those monthly mortgage payments help us to build more homes. Volunteers are the heart and soul of Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity. Whether you’re volunteering on a construction site or in one of our Habitat ReStores, your participation is vital to our mission.
