AASHE Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education The AASHE Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education, happening virtually Oct. 12 – 14, will feature about 200 sessions that will be available via on-demand playback through Dec. 31, six keynote sessions, over 20 networking sessions, and eight exhibitors ready to share products, services and best practices to advance your campus sustainability goals. Registration is open through Oct. 14. AASHE Member Discount: 30% Off WOHESC AASHE members are eligible to receive 30 percent off registration to the Washington Oregon Higher Education Sustainability Conference (WOHESC), happening March 2 – 4, 2022, at South Seattle College in Seattle, Washington. The discount expires Feb. 28. Call for Proposals: Design & Implement Virtual Series on Climate Change & Sustainability The U.S. Department of State’s USA Study Abroad team invites U.S. colleges and universities to submit a proposal to conceptualize, design and implement a new virtual seminar series on climate change and environmental sustainability for scholars and alumni of the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program. Proposals are due Oct. 28. Call for Video Messages From Higher Education Students Students Organizing for Sustainability International invites students at higher education institutions to submit video messages that provide a critical and solution-focused perspective on how climate education is and should be integrated into the curriculum. The five best videos will be compiled into a 4-5 minute video that will be played for ministers and delegates at U.N. Environment Program and the Times Higher Education Climate Impact Forum on Oct. 28, ahead of COP26. |
