Now is the time to register to vote or change your address!! Ballots will be mailed to all registered voters no later than February 10.

There are a number of ways you can register:
1. ONLINE REGISTRATION: via Champlain College voter registration portal or VT State registration portal
If you register online the day before the election or on Election Day, your application may not be processed and your name may not appear on the checklist and you may be asked to fill out another application at the polls. To be sure your name appears on the voter checklist, you must register online by the Friday before the election, Friday, February 26, 2021.
2. REGISTER WITH YOUR TOWN CLERK
You can register with your Town Clerk. The Burlington City Clerk’s Office is currently closed to in-person visits because of rising Covid numbers. Voter Registration forms are available from the City Clerk’s Office upon request. Call 802-865-7000 to have a form sent to you. The City Clerk’s Office will close at 1pm on Monday, March 1, 2021 to prepare for the Election.
3. REGISTER ON ELECTION DAY (Be prepared for lines)
On Election Day, March 2, 2021, you can register at your polling place (see Burlington, VT Polling places here)
Remember you must include your Vermont DMV-issued Driver’s License Number or Personal I.D. Number (VT PID#) on the Voter Application. If you do not have a Driver’s License or VT PID# issued by DMV, then you must include the last four (4) digits of your Social Security Number. (SSN).
