This spring 350Vermont is looking for one dynamic person to join our team starting February 2, 2020 for a 16 week internship, ending May 15, 2020. The Mobilization & Trainings intern will help with our solutions work, focusing on organizing a large statewide tree planting and climate justice/food justice project. They will also help with our fossil fuel resistance campaign and our trainings program as needed. The mobilization intern is integral to the process of organizing events, coordinating volunteers, and will engage communities around the state in climate solutions.
We are looking for someone with a commitment to and passion for the 350Vermont mission of building a local movement to stop the climate crisis. We seek self-starters with the passion, creativity, and drive to make things happen while working independently and in close coordination with a team.
This position is ideal at around 15 hours a week—great for a capstone internship—but if you’re interested and available for less time, we still encourage you to apply. Please note that we are not able to offer work study positions at this time. The Mobilization & Trainings Internship would ideally start Tuesday, February 2, 2020, however we’d be willing to discuss starting earlier or later.
If you are interested, please apply online at 350vermont.org/internships and feel free to get in touch with Sophia (sophia@350vt.org) with any questions.
