Attend a Beyond Waste Student Summit!
PLAN is hosting four virtual summits this year! Each half-day summit will equip students with the tools they need to become the next generation of leaders in the Zero Waste Movement.
These half-day, virtual leadership intensives will cover:
- Getting a student project off the ground
- Navigating Capitalism and the Waste Crisis
- Breaking free from plastic and the Fossil Fuel Industry
- Preparing for leadership turnover to ensure that your project lasts for years to come
- Creating strategies to get campus buy-in for student projects
Each virtual event will be comprised of over 50 students, with all levels of organizing experience, from campuses all across the country. We will spend the majority of the time role-playing the development of projects that help us envision and practice building the future we want to live in.
Throughout the day, we will explore various organizing tools and strategies that can be replicated for both on- and off-campus projects/campaigns.
