SWEEP Spring Membership Gathering!

Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 — 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm

We hope you can join us for our annual SWEEP Spring Membership Gathering at the Birds of Vermont Museum! If you’re not currently a member, come as a guest and check us out. We’ll have membership forms for anyone interested in joining!

The Gathering will “officially” start at 4 pm, but please come 10 minutes early to be ready for an activity that the Museum will initiate at 4 pm.

Then we’ll grab dinner and start our annual business meeting, during which we’ll elect SWEEP board members and officers. We’ll also introduce a new initiative, the SWEEP Swap! This is a “bring something / take something” opportunity for those who want to participate. Do you have some teaching supplies that you no longer need but others might? Bring them along and get them back into circulation!

After that, we’ll announce the SWEEP Mini-Grants that will be available with proceeds from the 2018 NEEEA conference. Attendees will have an Open Space opportunity to network with others to brainstorm collaborative ideas that could get funded through a mini-grant (two collaborators can apply for twice the funding!). Finally, we’ll talk briefly about our Guidelines for Excellence professional development workshop, funded by NAAEE, that will occur on September 27, 2019.
