Volunteers needed for 7th annual Day in the Dirt – April 27th

Join us at one of 26 shared gardens to volunteer and support VCGN at our 7th annual event…

On Saturday, April 27, families, friends, employee teams and community members all over Vermont join forces to assist with projects at gardens — spreading compost, building beds or compost systems, repairing fences or other activities to get them ready for spring.  They help sustain this work by raising funds for VCGN’s programs, which include technical assistance, training & education, networking and resources for gardeners of all ages.

All participants receive a goody bag, a raffle ticket for an awesome Burton backpack and a family-friendly wrap up party (live music, free flatbread pizza) at the Swithback Tap Room.

Fundraisers get great incentives and prizes!
