Dismantling Rape Culture Conference

We are pleased to announce the 14th Annual Dismantling Rape Culture Conference (DRCC) call for session proposals!

At the  Dismantling Rape Culture Conference (DRCC) we collectively strive to educate on and intervene in rape culture, which exists “when prevalent attitudes, norms, practices, and media condone, normalize, excuse, and encourage sexual [and all forms] of violence.”

At this conference attendees will consider the inter sectional ways in which rape culture exists and  collectively envision how we can change, shift, alter, and heal from its insidious presence in our lives and communities.

This year our conference will occur on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the University of Vermont Davis Center.

We look forward to receiving proposals that uplift and center the ways  our communities consider intersections of justice, radical healing, and liberation as we develop self-awareness, challenge assumptions, and engage in intentional dialogue.

Please submit our proposal by clicking on this link. We will be reviewing proposals on a rolling basis until:  February 15, 2019.

We look forward to reviewing your proposal! We will respond to proposal requests by Friday, February 22nd Please share this information with your networks! For any questions or more information, please email: uvmdrcc@gmail.com.
