Garden Education Internships Available
The Vermont Community Garden Network has three summer garden education internship openings. One is for 14 weeks from June through August and two are for 24 weeks from May to October. Both are valuable opportunities to work in dynamic community-based garden education programs with diverse groups of children, adults, and seniors!
VCGN interns get hands-on experience and play an important role in enriching people’s lives through food, garden, and nutrition education. In the words of former intern Liz Berman, a 2014 UVM Dietetics, Nutrition and Food Sciences graduate, Working at VCGN was one of the most rewarding experiences Ive had and I feel like I learned so much this summer, not only about gardening, but about teaching and community building.
