Exciting Farm Opportunities with the Farm at VYCC

The Farm at VYCC seeks hardworking, focused, and energetic individuals to join our team for the 2015 Fall season.

The Farm at VYCC is a program of the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps. We are situated on 400 acres of conserved land in the Winooski River Valley. Currently, the farm consists of 8.5 acres of vegetable production, a pastured poultry operation for meat and eggs, and a custom grazing partnership with neighboring organic dairy. One of our primary purposes is a unique public health CSA called the Health Care Share (HCS), a partnership between the farm and local medical centers that distributes free weekly shares to over 350 patient families in need across Vermont. We also market our produce and poultry through an on-site farm stand, local farmers market and wholesale accounts, including 20+ onsite weddings and events.

As a job training and leadership development organization, we are also deeply committed to providing employment and educational opportunities to high school students. We work with youth year-round by providing Summer & Fall Farm Crew jobs, after school internships, and credit-based programs during the school year.
