I’m pleased to invite you to next Thursday’s (4/16) pre-Earth Day Event, 12:00-1:00, at Burton Snowboards celebrating Burlington’s achievement in reaching its 100% renewable energy goal.  Organized by Burton, Seventh Generation, Ben and Jerry’s and the City of Burlington, this celebration will include Ben and Jerry’s, snacks, and a screening of Momenta, a 38 minute documentary produced by Protect our Winters (POW).

In addition to a few words from BED General Manager Neale Lunderville, Burton’s Donna Carpenter will speak briefly about how Burlington’s 100% renewable energy success is good for business, and offers an important model for other cities.  Please feel free to share this information with others.
