What: Project Learning Tree Facilitator Workshop
When: March 27-28, 2014
Where: One World Conservation Center, Bennington, VT
Cost: $45 (Includes the PreK-8, Early Childhood, and High School Environmental Education Activity Guides, teaching tools, lodging and meals.)
Engage in a hands-on, interactive workshop and become a Project Learning Tree certified facilitator.
Details:
• Become a Project Learning Tree certified facilitator
• Be engaged in a hands-on workshop for formal and nonformal educators and natural resource professionals
• Investigate environmental topics with indoor and outdoor activities
• Enjoy a live animal presentation by Michael Clough of the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum, and an interactive activity with Forester Jim Esden.
• Receive PLT’s PreK-8 Environmental Education Activity Guide, PLT’s Early Childhood Guide, and PLT High School Modules including the new Focus on Forests guide.
Materials are correlated to national and state academic standards.
