Vermont Clean Cities – Seeking Fall Intern

The Vermont Clean Cities Coalition was awarded a spot to bring in a student intern for the FALL 2017 semester. This fall, Clean Cities is offering 38 workforce development program positions across the nation and applications are now available.  This is a wonderful opportunity for students looking to gain experience in the energy and transportation areas. Please pass this information along to anyone you know who may be interested in one of these positions.

Candidates can apply directly to Abby Bleything, the Vermont Clean Cities Coordinator at abby.bleything@uvm.edu. Please send your résumé, cover letter, and writing sample. We are looking for a student with strong marketing, PR, outreach, and communication skills and interest in alternative fuels, fleet project development, and clean transportation.

The Vermont Clean Cities Coalition (VTCCC) is a statewide program that was designated in 2001. The mission of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program is to advance the economic, environmental and energy security of the U.S. by supporting local decisions to adopt practices that contribute to reduced petroleum consumption in the transportation sector.  The Vermont Clean Cities Coalition brings together stakeholders in the public and private sectors to deploy alternative and renewable fuels, idle-reduction measures, fuel economy improvements, and emerging transportation technologies.

Thank you for helping to spread the word!
