ONE MORE WEEK TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS FOR THE 2016 SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE EDUCATION CONFERENCE!
Proposals for presentations and workshops are now being accepted. This is a wonderful chance to share ideas and experiences in the teaching and learning of sustainable agriculture and food systems. Deadline for submission of a proposal is April 17th at 5 pm PST.

SAEA National Conference Registration Costs

The registration fee covers all three days of the event and all meals (breakfast Friday, July 29th through lunch Sunday, July 31st). There are no partial, or per-day, registrations available. Housing on campus is available on a per night basis at an additional cost (includes parking).
The cost structure below is for planning purposes only; the costs may change slightly once official conference registration opens. Finalized costs are expected within a few weeks.
Please note that the conference costs have been heavily discounted through fund-raising efforts to insure the event is as accessible as possible to the entirety of our community. Major support has been provided by the University of California’s Office of the President, Global Food Initiative.

STUDENT
(Enrolled in a degree program or graduated in the last year):
• Registration: $50 (includes all 3 days + meals)
• Housing Per Night:
Dorm: $30
Double apartment: $75
Single apartment: $90
• SAEA student membership fee: $25 – (fee waived if membership is current)
BEGINNING FARMER, APPRENTICE OR INTERN
(Studying or training in a farming or food systems professional setting):
• Registration: $50 (includes all 3 days + meals)
• Housing Per Night:
Dorm: $30
Double apartment: $75
Single apartment: $90
• SAEA student membership fee: $25 – (fee waived if membership is current)
LOW-INCOME STAFF OR ACTIVIST
(Working with a community-based organization or non-profit,
without a professional development budget):
• Registration: $50 (includes all 3 days + meals)
• Housing Per Night:
Dorm: $30
Double apartment: $75
Single apartment: $90
• SAEA student membership fee: $50 – (fee waived if membership is current)
SALARIED STAFF, FACULTY, AND ADMINISTRATORS
(Working in academia, public agencies, and similar organizations):
• Registration: $150 (includes all 3 days + meals)
