Vermont Idle-Free Schools project – seeking college intern

I am director of Idle-Free VT Inc., a non-profit organization that raises awareness of unnecessary vehicle idling in Vermont. Our Vermont Idle-Free Schools project, thanks to funding by the High Meadows Fund and the Vermont Community Foundation, is implementing 50-60 Idle-Free from the Start (idling awareness and eco-driving) guest-lecturing presentations before high school classroom audiences — mainly in driver education classes — for 2015-16. We will shortly recruit two college students as paid interns to give up to 15 of these presentations each, from January to June. As these sessions are pretty well scattered throughout the state, I would like to pick one student from colleges in each of two geographical regions including either Champlain College or UVM for the more northern part of the state.
To get an idea of what an intern would do, attached is a pitch, as well as the application they would fill out (suggestions on these documents welcome). I am thinking I would want a sophomore, junior or senior. Also, public speaking ability is important.
Hired interns will be considered employees of Idle-Free VT (as opposed to independent contractors). Idle-Free VT will adhere to requirements specified by the Vermont Dept. of Labor, including meeting minimum wage requirements and a workers compensation policy.
Thank you for your consideration.
Wayne
