Jobs that make an Impact: 2 years of action for our environment, our democracy, our future
My name is Maggie Galka. Last May I graduated from UVM as an ENVS major. Now as a current organizer with Impact, I am working with PIRG on a campaign to Get Big Money Out of Politics. Through Impact, I have gained valuable organizing skills while getting to make a lasting impact on critical issues.
Impact runs action campaigns across the country on issues that matter, like global warming, clean water and big money’s influence over our democracy, and we’re hiring!
This isn’t a study program or a travel program; it’s an action program. Our mission is to create the grassroots action, energy and power it takes to make an impact on important issues.
If you’re serious about making an impact on these issues and you’re willing to get out and work in the real world, where issue campaigns like these are won and lost, then we’re the group for you.
