Tent City this year consists of a one-day period happening on Saturday, November 15 (into Sunday, Nov. 16). These events will no longer count for a student’s first-year LEAD Engaged Citizen requirement, and we need help recruiting more students to participate! As most of you know, Tent City is a very important solidarity event that raises awareness about issues of hunger and homelessness. As if supporting this cause isn’t enough, we are also offering incentives to encourage student participation. I’ve attached a flyer that has more information about our point system that could earn them awesome prizes as an individual or a group, as well as a general Tent City brochure that has more information about the events.
