Local Motion’s event description runs as such:
Come out for a Sunday drive, without the drive!
We invite our Local Motion family to Open Streets BTV to experience Burlington’s streets in a completely different way! It’s also a great way to support 360.org and the Peoples’ Climate March in NYC by making a statement locally about sustainable transportation, renewable energy and carbon reduction.
Open Streets BTV will free up more than 2 miles of car-free streets where people can bike, roll, stroll, dance, skate and play, brought to you by the City of Burlington in partnership with Local Motion, the Burlington Walk/Bike Council.
There will be loads of fun, healthy, family-friendly activities in three parks and schools along the route. Click here for more information!
When: Sunday, Sept. 21st, 9am – 2pm. Come or go at any time, stay as long as you want!
Where: Burlington’s Old North End neighborhood, a 10-minute walk from Church Street.
Pick anywhere along the route to start!
Vehicle Parking: FREE parking is available in all public city of Burlington garages all day.
Bike parking: Secure bike parking will be available at Roosevelt Park.
