| My name is Tara Shivafard and I am the Partnerships Assistant for UNITE 2030. We empower young leaders to end poverty, inequality justice, and climate change by the year 2030. I wanted to reach out about and opportunity for this year’s Global Goals Week hosted around the UN General Assembly in September. We’d love to get students from Champlain College involved! During UNGA, we are hosting our Camp 2030 Summit from September 12-18, 2022, a 6-day innovation lab to spark entrepreneurial solutions to the SDGs. We’re selecting the top 250 young leaders out of thousands of applications from around the world to attend for an unrivalled networking opportunity and entrepreneurship incubator program. This is a great opportunity for young people (18-35) who are interested in exploring social entrepreneurship and sustainability. They’ll get a change to network with other youth leaders, and also receive mentorship and have their solutions heard at an event in NYC during the UN General Assembly. We’d love to have some students from Champlain College join us for Camp 2030. Would you also be able to share the application internally with your students who might be interested? We do also work with universities who might want to further partner with Camp 2030 or sponsor students to attend as a student engagement opportunity.
