(The Afiya Center is the only Reproductive Justice organization in North Texas founded and directed by Black women.) Barbara Rachelson, Vermont Representative for our local ward How at risk are abortion rights in this country? Each panelist will introduce themselves and briefly discuss their own reaction to Texas Senate Bill 8, followed by a discussion of next steps for themselves and for concerned citizens to take. We will then open it up to general Q&A with the audience. We recognize that this is a very emotive topic for many. We appreciate hearing from everyone, all views, in a respectful way. |
