VENUE RENTALS

Choose a meaningful place for your receptions, meetings, retreats
and short-term stays.

By choosing the Barn House and our outdoor venues for your next meeting, retreat, reception or short-term stay, you’ll not only be enjoying a unique and meaningful place and beautiful settings, you’ll be helping to preserve an important cultural heritage asset in Vermont.
The 148-acre Clemmons Family Farm is one of the rare African-American owned historic farms in Vermont, and one of just 0.4% of farms in the US that are African-American owned.

Our venues are decorated with exceptional African Diaspora art and antiquities and contemporary exhibits. They are tailored for small gatherings in a working farm landscape.
We’ll be glad to schedule a time for you to come by for a look.

VOLUNTEER AT THE HISTORIC BARN HOUSE!

The Clemmons Family Farm in Charlotte is recruiting volunteers to serve as docents at the Farm’s historic Barn House on Saturday mornings and occasionally at other times during the summer. No previous experience is necessary. We will provide training. Docents will learn about the beautiful building, a bit about African-American and African art, culture and history and will join a growing team of community members from Charlotte, Hinesburg, Shelburne, South Burlington, Burlington and Winooski who are helping to create a “Sense of Place,” an arts and culture creative placemaking project funded by ArtPlace America!

Contact clemmonsfamilyfarm@gmail.com if you are interested in volunteering with us.
