PITCHIN’ IN – Lund is looking for volunteers for their “Pitchin’ for a Purpose” Cornhole Tournament on May 12th at Burlington International Airport. SPRING CLEAN-UP – Winooski Valley Park District needs volunteers to help with clean-up to get sites ready for the busy season ahead at the Ethan Allen Homestead (on April 20th) and Salmon Hole (on April 13th). SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT – Ethan Allen Homestead Museum is in need of a volunteer to help manage their three social media accounts which advertise upcoming events, hours of operation and fun historical facts. SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING AND EVENTS – Brain Injury Association of Vermont is establishing social media platforms and channels to increase engagement and support for family members, brain injury survivors, service providers and the general public. Help generate, develop and deploy new tools to educate and involve the community about brain injury prevention, advocacy and treatment, and coordinate events and survivor projects. ST. ALBANS AREA SUPPORT GROUP – Brain Injury Association of Vermont is looking for a volunteer to facilitate a Support Group for brain injury survivors and their families in the St Albans area. Groups would meet once a month for an hour or more. No experience is needed, just a willingness to learn. Brain injury survivors are encouraged to apply! WEEKEND STAFFING – Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge is seeking a volunteer or volunteer couple to help staff their headquarters building on weekends from mid-May through mid-October. GREEN THUMBS NEEDED – Burlington Dismas House is gearing up for its 16th annual Plant Sale and needs volunteers to help fill pots with transplants. CAMP WORK DAY – YWCA Vermont is in need of volunteer individuals and groups to join them for work days at Camp Hochelaga this spring to prepare the camp for its 99th season.
