We have 2 weeks till the RAR. Will you be there?
3 Reasons to Come:
#3 – The World is in crisis, and Racism is one of the underlying causes of many social and environmental ills. This is an ideal opportunity to stand together for the world we want to see. If we all go, it will be really big. The more people that stand together, the more power we have.
Come to run at 11:30 or join us for the rally 12:30. The 1st Annual Race Against Racism is a rally and an inclusive community walking and running event.
WALKERS, RUNNERS & WHEELERS (those in wheelchairs or who depend on other forms of transportation):
Please come to MHS to register between 10 – 11:15. Registrants will get a number and we’ll track their times. If you just want to run without registering and getting a number, go for it! Just hop in with your friends and have a good time! All donations will be accepted and will go to benefit our partners Migrant Justice, Justice for All, and the MHS Diversity Club.
The event begins with a 5k run/walk and ends with speaking and performances from activists and artists from around Vermont. If you are not a runner but would like to show your support for equality in VT, please join us for the rally.
Registration for the race is $5 for youth and $10 for adults. If you need a waiver of the fee please get in touch with us at raceagainstracismvt@gmail.com
