We have 2 weeks till the RAR. Will you be there?

3 Reasons to Come:

#1 – The Race Against Racism is a unification of Vermonters against discrimination and racism, on the rise in the wake of Charlottesville ans other events. This is an open and welcoming event for anyone in Vermont to come show your solidarity with communities of color and opposition to White Supremacy and Racism.
#2 – The leaders are highschool aged, amazing organizers of color. They are asking you to be there (whether you plan to run or not). Showing up for the young leaders so they know they can make a difference is vital.

The Race Against Racism was necessary before Charlottesville, but is even more relevant now. Are you willing to stand together and show your support for racial justice and the youth of Vermont?”
– RAR Organizer Hope Petraro, 15 Years Old

#3 – The World is in crisis, and Racism is one of the underlying causes of many social and environmental ills. This is an ideal opportunity to stand together for the world we want to see. If we all go, it will be really big. The more people that stand together, the more power we have.

Come to run at 11:30 or join us for the rally 12:30. The 1st Annual Race Against Racism is a rally and an inclusive community walking and running event.

WALKERS, RUNNERS & WHEELERS (those in wheelchairs or who depend on other forms of transportation):
Please come to MHS to register between 10 – 11:15.
