Second Nature is looking for qualified and diverse applicants for 2 paid internship positions at our downtown Boston offices. The internships will be for approximately 16 hours/week and will last 3-6 months, depending on the candidate’s availability. Internship will start in late October, early November.
1. Design and Communications internship that may include, but not be limited to:
– Designing images and documents for promotion
– Website content maintenance (WordPress site)
– Database maintenance, including updating and research of contacts
– Some writing including blogs and social media engagement
– Knowledge and comfort with the Adobe Creative Suite required.
2. Operations & Programs intern, that may include, but not be limited to:
– Assisting in the daily operations of a busy non-profit office
– Supporting logistics, coordination and set-up for meetings and events
– Supporting staff in updating and researching prospective new signatories and partners
– Providing customer service and support in person, on the phone and via email
– Database management and data entry
