Front End Volunteer
You can make our customers smile.
Do you love meeting people? Helping people? Befriending people? Making people smile? Then this volunteer position is for you.
As a Front End volunteer, you will help customers, make sure the right paperwork gets filled out, sell bikes, direct volunteers, accept bike donations, and work with volunteer mechanics and staff to manage the flow of the shop.
Volunteer shifts are in the afternoons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Volunteer Mechanic
You can get bikes back on the road.
Do you have experience working on bikes? Are you looking to flex your mechanical skills? Do you like helping people?
As a Volunteer Mechanic working the morning shift, you will repair and refurbish bikes in a mellow shop atmosphere with a staff mechanic and other Volunteer Mechanics. During the afternoon shift, you’ll set up walk-in customers with bikes, take in repairs, perform on-the-fly repairs, and work with staff and volunteers to manage the flow of the shop.

Youth Shop Assists
You can empower young people.
Youth Shop is a once-a-week drop-in session when young people volunteer in exchange for help repairing their own bike.
As a Youth Assist, you will provide encouragement and direction to attendees while they complete volunteer projects and work on their bikes.
Youth Shop is on Thursday afternoons from 3:45 – 6:00pm during the summer months.
If you like working with young people, enjoy hands-on work, and know a little bit about bike mechanics (and want to learn more) this is the volunteer job for you.

Street Team
You can spread the word.
Classes, rides, programs, events… there’s so much exciting stuff to spread the word about.
Want to bike around with a stack of posters and a staple gun for a couple hours? Want to hang out in the sunshine at Grand Point North, regional bike rides, and in front of City Market to talk to people about the shops and our work?
