The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) has just begun a long anticipated update to their Active Transportation Plan.  The Plan will provide the basis for future regional investments in walking and biking throughout the County.

As a way to provide public comments, suggestions, likes and dislikes, in an easy to use format, we’ve developed an on-line interactive map tool.  By clicking here you can pull up a county map and locate any particular places, routes, obstacles, safety concerns, etc. on which to make your comments. With your help, we hope to determine the best strategies and projects to make active transportation a more reliable and safe travel option for any type of trip.

10am Bike Ride – Meet at Town Offices (10632 VT Route 116) for a 10am departure – Come experience what Hinesburg has to offer in terms of bike facilities during a 2.5-mile bike ride in the Village.

Essex Junction, VT

2:30pm walk – Meet at the Board of Trustee Room (2 Lincoln Street) and join us for a walk around the area.

3:15pm Active Transportation Workshop & snacks – Board of Trustee Room (2 Lincoln Street)
