Just Power is teaming up with SunCommon on February 6th to host Josh Panda and the Hot Damned at the Town Hall Theater! Come warm up, have fun, and celebrate our Addison County, Vermont, and Lake Champlain communities. All proceeds will go to Just Power and efforts to stop the fracked gas pipeline and promote a just energy future in Vermont.
SunCommon approached Just Power to rock this concert with them because they believe in our grassroots community organizing efforts to stop the fracked gas pipeline through Vermont and under Lake Champlain in favor of inclusive and just responses to climate change. This concert represents a creative collaboration between a renewable energy provider and a grassroots community group engaged in the process of building a better energy future.
If you’ve never heard Josh Panda you’re in for a treat. He electrified last summer’s Festival on the Green with his Carolina-roots-inspired rock and roll. Backing Panda is his original band The Hot Damned featuring Steve Hadeka on drums, Lowell Thompson on guitar, and Leon Campos on keys. Special guest Brian Axford will also be joining the group for this night only.
Tickets can be purchased at the Town Hall Theater box office (382-9222) or online.
