Help The Center for Service build a house in Nicaragua!

The Center for Service & Civic Engagement is excited to sponsor a service trip to Nicaragua this Spring Break in collaboration with Friends New England. The trip will allow 8 students to help build a home, work on constructing an eco-stove, and volunteer at a local school.
To make this trip a reality, we have a fundraising goal of $2,350 to cover the cost of building a home with a family in Nicaragua.  The students have arranged a few fundraising events in the coming weeks in Burlington.

All you have to do is enjoy some delicious food and you will benefit our cause!
Boloco (92 Church St): Wednesday, Feb. 11 – 5pm-9pm (please bring flyer)Displaying Boloco Fundraiser.png
Orange Leaf (192 Church St): Sunday, Feb. 15 & Sunday, Feb. 22 – 5pm-10pm
Skinny Pancake (60 Lake St): Wednesday, Feb. 25 – 5pm-close (with live musical performance Josh Panda!)
UNO’s (1330 Shelburne Rd): Thursday, Feb. 26 – all day
Lastly, we have an online fundraising page set up with Friends NE here.  Please consider making a donation if you are able, and/or passing this along to your networks.  All funds will go directly to Friends NE, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
