Eco Practicum is now accepting applications for 2015 programs

The following message is courtesy of Eugenia Manwelyan, Eco Practicum Program Director:
Eco Practicum is looking to engage big thinkers and bold do-ers in its Spring Break practicum in NYC and Summer practicum in the Catskill Mountains. The programs are designed to give undergraduates and recent grads hands-on experience, link them with smart and passionate peers, and connect them with experts representing more than 20 environmental organizations. The mission is to grow the next generation of environmental leaders.

Each day consists of hands-on farm work, meetings with experts in many environmental fields, and thoughtful discussions facilitated by skilled democratic educators. The program culminates in a final project that challenges participants to actualize their ideas through practical implementation. Eco Practicum calls upon emerging leaders to consider multiple sides of complex issues, while helping them gain practical skills, and connect with leading-edge organizations.
Scholarships and fellowships are available. Apply online at www.ecopracticum.com
