The Nature Conservancy – Winter Volunteer Opportunities 2014-2015

The following is a message from the Nature Conservancy:

Our stewardship team is gearing up for a busy winter of Boundary Marking and we could use your help.

Join us in marking TNC preserve boundaries throughout Vermont. For each date and site listed below, we are seeking 2-4 volunteers willing to help us mark our preserve boundaries by repainting blazes and hanging TNC signs. The field days can be strenuous, especially if we are hiking in heavy snow or along steep topography, so we ask that you please consider your physical capabilities before signing up.

Attached is a poster with the same information. We would greatly appreciate any help spreading the word.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please email us at volunteervt@tnc.org or call (802) 229-4425 ext. 111. We like to be in touch with volunteers a few days prior to the work day regarding weather updates and last minute important details.

Many thanks for your help and hope to see you in the woods!
