There will be a free screening of the Sundance Award-Winning Film American Promise. The Peace & Justice Center and Partnership for Change have come together to bring this movie to our community to provide awareness, offer support and inspire participation in a movement for racial justice to improve our kids’ future. This educational, inspiring and intimate film provides a personal look at the racial achievement gap found in our country’s education system.

The film will be screened on October 7th at the Merrill’s Roxy Cinema at 6:30 pm. The event is FREE, however due to limited seating we encourage people to pick up their free tickets at the Peace & Justice Store, 60 Lake St, Burlington or at the Merrill’s Roxy Cinema, 222 College Street, Burlington.
