Internships with The Garden Project

John Austin, an alum of the Champlain College MBA program, is the Director of Education for a nonprofit called The Garden Project.  It’s a program located outside of San Francisco which takes at risk students from Hunters Point and Bayview and puts them on a college track while teaching them organic farming and business.  The program serves about 250 – 300 youth a year and produces about 600 tons of organically grown kale, turnips, potatoes, collared greens, as well native plants for beautification projects around the city.

He is looking for interested students to work with him, and has provided more information below.
