Overview: Join us as we do a deep dive into the radical impact of bin placement and effective signage on campus recycling rates.  University of California, Merced will share lessons learned from the various experiments they’ve done with staff and students on campus to develop highly effective signage on their public space bins.  Next, Clemson University will talk about the significant and sustained increase in recycling rates they realized after removing trash bins from classrooms and offices and share what they did to earn recycling a seat at the building design table.
