UVM’s Blackboard Jungle

Dear Champlain College Community:

UVM’s annual Blackboard Jungle 7 Diversity Symposium will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 in the Dudley H. Davis Center on the UVM campus from 8:00a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Registration is now open. See the attached poster for registration details.

There will be a keynote kickoff on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 4:00-5:30 pm in the Ira Allen Chapel on the UVM campus featuring Charlayne Hunter-Gault.

Charlayne Hunter-Gault is CNN’s former Johannesburg bureau chief and correspondent and former national correspondent for PBS for The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer. She is also the author of In My Place, a memoir of her role in the civil rights movement as the first black woman admitted to the University of Georgia

This year, BBJ has broadened to include multiple identities including religion and ability.

In the past, the ODI has paid registration for interested Champlain community members and will do so again this year.  If you are interested in attending, please let us know by March 7th so we can process payment

Thank you
