Vermont Student Climate Coalition

Francesca Hall, a junior at UVM, has been working with students across Vermont to build a strong coalition of student environmental organizers and activists. Her goal is to connect and strengthen the campaigns being waged throughout the state to make Vermont and its colleges and universities models of sustainability and environmental stewardship.

In order for this coalition to be effective, however, it needs student representatives from every school to take an active role in connecting their school to this coalition and in some manner representing the interests of students on their campus.

If you are interested in being a part of the Vermont Student Climate Coalition, please get in touch with her at hall.francesca@gmail.com or by phone (310) 869-9175.This won’t be a big time commitment, but it will yield profound results not only on your campus but on every campus throughout the state.

If you’d like any more information about VSCC, please feel free to visit its Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/vtstudentclimatecoalition

The first planning retreat is February 14-16, with the funding being covered by grants from UVM and Middlebury.
