Call for Speakers and Presentations
8th Annual Vermont Organics Recycling Summit (VORS)

This is an invitation to composting & recycling professionals; researchers
and educators; government officials and planners; community & business
leaders; consultants, contractors, developers and others to submit presentation
abstracts for consideration at Annual VORS conference.

The VORS planning committee seeks presentations related to one or more of these
topics:

• The Science of Composting
• Best Management Practices (BMPʼs) for Compost Production
• End Uses & Applications for Compost
• Policy issues
• Act 148 Implementation
• Feedstocks, Collection and Processing
• Innovative Technologies and Systems
• Marketing & Compost Quality
• Composting and the Carbon Cycle
• Research and Case Studies
• Topics related to composting & organics diversion from landfills

Please submit a one-page abstract (MS Word format), containing the following
information: 

1) Proposed Title of Presentation
2) Speaker Name, Affiliation, Address, Email and Phone Contact information
3) 3-4 sentence biography of speaker
4) 5 sentences describing the presentation content
5) Prior speaking experience; has presentation been done at other conferences?
6) If available, sample PowerPoint slide of presentation.
7) Suggested presentation lengths:   10-15 min (panelist), OR 60 min
(workshop)
