My EHS 100 class partnered with Jen Colman to craft a donation drive for the Howard Center. Jen spoke to my class a few weeks ago. The students learned how the Center functions and sustains itself. Needless to say, the success of the Center relies heavily upon its community’s support… yes, that includes US!
A few students from EHS 100 will table next week outside of the Dining Hall (in the Atrium). They will be there between 11am and 1pm on Tuesday and Thursday to collect donations.See the attached the flyer, which includes the donation request. Social Work student Grace Dawson created the flyer.
Please come by and say “hi” to them and, if you’re able, bring a toy or glue-stick with ya! The youth at the Howard Center could use some therapy session tools, like glitter, legos, play-dough and Candy Land…who doesn’t!
Thank you!
