Green Mountain Farm-to-School (GMFTS) is a nonprofit organization in northern Vermont promoting the health of Vermont’s children, farms, and communities by providing programs to connect schools and farms through food and education. We do this by building school gardens, delivering local food to schools and institutions, and educating the community about healthy food choices. GMFTS seeks a dynamic, mission-driven food systems professional with strong business and organization skills to support the growth and operations of our food hub.
Job Opening: Food Hub Coordinator
Status: Full-time, permanent
Position Description
The Food Hub Coordinator will manage the daily operations of our food hub, Green Mountain Farm Direct, including receiving and processing customer orders, coordinating with distribution partners, and maintaining relationships with our producers. The Food Hub Coordinator maintains the ordering database, provides technical assistance to customers and vendors, and works as part of a team to ensure the program’s long term viability.
