Summer Volunteer Opportunities at The Nature Conservancy (VT)

Dear TNC volunteers and friends,

Our stewardship team is gearing up for a busy season of Volunteer Work Days at our preserves across Vermontand we could use your help. Thank you to those of you who have already helped out this year – you’ve logged more than 400 volunteer hours in northern Vermont so far in 2014!

All of the work days run from 9:30AM – 1:30PM unless otherwise noted. No experience is necessary – we will provide all of the training and equipment – but you should bring a lunch and water. Our trail work days can be strenuous and involve carrying lumber and equipment over uneven terrain. The work can range from building puncheon (boardwalk) to pruning back overgrown vegetation to cleaning up roadside trash. The work can be demanding but many TNC staff and volunteers find it to be some of the most rewarding stewardship work – we hope you will, too.

Here is a list of our scheduled work days for June and the beginning of July.
