Clean Out Your Closet: Donate gently-worn professional clothing to students

Hello!

It’s the perfect time to do some closet spring cleaning, and here’s why this week is a great time to start!

On Wednesday, March 18th, Career Peer Coach, Riley Seith, and the Career Collaborative team will be holding the semi-annual Dress For Success event in Fireside Lounge from 2-6PM. This event provides professional clothing to students at no cost to help prepare them for the Spring Career Fair and upcoming job interviews.

This event is made possible by donations of gently used professional clothing which we are actively collecting! To help us make this event a success please consider cleaning out your closet and dropping off your donations in one of our donation bins located at:

  • The Career Collaborative (open M-F 8:30AM – 5:00PM)
  • Aiken Hall (located in the lobby)
  • The Mail Center/Commuter Lounge (located under the Mail Center counter)
  • Lakeside (located in the entryway)

If you have specific questions about types of attire or alternative drop off options, feel free to reach out directly at peercoachssb@champlain.edu.

Please also feel free to forward this along and help us provide as wide of a selection to our student body as possible!

Thank you in advance for your time and potential donations!
