Capital Campaign Kickoff

Last Thursday, we kicked off our Capital Campaign with a party in our new shop. Thanks to everyone who came out! Here’s a quick overview of what’s going on:

  • We’re raising money to move across the street into the old Good News Garage space
  • The move will allow us to combine the operations of our Community Workshop and Retail Shop
  • A bigger, integrated space means we can better serve all of our customers

Whether its $25 or $25,000, any donation will help us turn that big, dusty, echoey space into a welcoming, full-service active transportation hub for all Burlingtonians – regardless of their ability to pay. So thank you!

Burlington Cycling Infrastructure Update

As you have probably noticed, Burlington’s bicycle infrastructure has seen some recent improvements. We love the new Old North End Wiggle! Check out our blog post about the goings on and what you can do to make Burlington a more bikeable city.

Sean’s Fall Fundo Recap

Our Second Annual Fall Fundo was a success, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event. Check out the photo album here!

We owe a big thank-you to all of our riders, especially those who went above and beyond with fundraising. If you raised $150 or more, your commemorative print is in the mail. Kudos to our top two fundraisers, who won Old Spokes Home jerseys courtesy of Garneau.

Our friend Sean (pictured on the right) wrote a recap of his ride, and it sounds like he had a blast.
