NICK CUTFORTH, PH.D.

Professor of Research Methods and Statistics, Morgridge College of Education, University of Denver and Adjunct Professor Colorado School of Public Health’s Rocky Mountain Prevention Research Center

“Partnerships for Healthy Eating & Physical Activity in Schools”

In his lecture, Professor Cutforth will share an approach to building a healthier student population in Colorado’s San Luis Valley through long-term partnerships.

Using stories, pictures, and testimonials, he will share how these partnerships are the foundation for empirically tested programs that have led to improved opportunities for healthy eating and physical activity in schools.

Those interested in community participatory action research, public health (especially as it relates to schools and youth), and long-term community engagement are particularly encouraged to attend.
