Dear Colleagues:
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a big deal in Vermont. UVM, St. Michael’s and the City of Burlington all put on excellent programs for MLK. Day and this year, we will be participating in the MLK day event for Green Mountain College. We encourage you to attend as many these as your schedule allows. We will be taking a group of interested faculty and staff to the St Michael’s workshop and Luncheon on 1/28. Please let me know if you are interested.
- January 17th. City MLK Day Celebration at 3pm. Tickets at Fletcher free Library and the Peace and justice Center
- January 18-21. Champlain College’s MLK Events. See below and stay tuned for updated information about that as we have made adjustments because of schedules, rooms and classes
- 1/18: Selma Viewing
- 1/19: Town hall viewing and debrief
- 1/20: Pray the devil back to hell viewing
- 1/21: Panel and our own town hall featuring Brian Murphy, Ted Heck and Briana Martin
- January 22. Green Mountain College’s MLK events
- January 25th.
